Catalyst: The business in social business
We focus on the investment and strategic needs of social businesses.
"Catalyst Fund 1" will be a venture capital fund focused on the social business areas of Renewable Energy & the Environment, Health, Education, and "Ethical Consumerism". FSA restrictions preclude the marketing of this fund on the internet.
Catalyst consultants work with growing social businesses on operational and business strategy and on financial management and forecasting. We also offer business plan assessment and investor analysis services to early-stage and pre-start-up social businesses.
Catalyst has developed an online portal, socialinvestments.com, for clear and objective information on UK social businesses. The site aims to kickstart investment in the sector.
Catalyst organises an annual conference aimed at CEOs of social businesses and selected investors. We also have an ongoing 'Catalyst In...' series, where members of our team and other professionals travel to different global regions to meet with and learn about the best of social enterprise, ethical business and community cooperation.
National Ethical Investment Week
